Prelude to Happiness

Residential Apartment Designed by Su-Hsiang Hung

An enthusiastic interaction between materials and the environment has been structured via the decorative embellishments and furniture designs, providing the space with low brightness a simplified yet modern visual effect, completely demonstrating contemporary sentiments and unveiling the prelude to a happy life of the house owners family.

The residential apartment design, named "Prelude to Happiness," showcases the unique vision of designer Su-Hsiang Hung. This stunning project combines materials and the environment to create a modern and visually appealing space. With its decorative embellishments and carefully curated furniture designs, the apartment exudes contemporary sentiments and sets the stage for a joyful life for its occupants.

One of the standout features of this design is the incredible storage space. Upon entering the foyer, visitors are greeted by a concealed black enamel cabinet, a hidden shoe cabinet, and a shoe bench. These functional yet stylish storage solutions not only meet the homeowners' needs but also add a touch of design to the space. Additionally, the designer has incorporated a partition screen in a cross style, serving both as storage and a religious display, catering to the homeowner's Christian beliefs.

The public space of the apartment, which includes the lounge and dining room, showcases a seamless blend of styles. The lounge features a dignified conservative grey-colored sofa against a vibrant blue back wall. Blue, the homeowner's favorite color, is strategically used throughout the space, creating a visually interesting contrast. Large French windows allow ample natural light to flood the room, creating a sense of openness and connecting the indoors with the outdoor scenery.

Technical specifications reveal that the apartment spans 135 square meters, providing ample space for comfortable living. The dining room features a long table and bench, while a white central island houses a red wine shelf and an Ih sensor stove for heating up food. The design elements from the foyer are continued and extended to the upper beam column above the dining room, adding layers and functionality to the space.

The "Prelude to Happiness" apartment was completed on August 15, 2018, in Taichung, Taiwan. This exceptional design has garnered recognition and was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The "Prelude to Happiness" apartment stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to creating a better world.
